JOHNNY THUNDERS may be dead, but the music he created changed the rock world forever and is still alive and pulsing through the veins of new york's, waldos. Formed in 1987 by ex-Heartbreaker, WALTER LURE, long-time friend to the hard livin' hard playin' thunders. THE HEARTBREAKERS were one of the driving forces behind the original punk movement on both sides of the atlantic and their recorded work is still a big influence on young bands today. THE WALDOS carried on the tradition with rent party their only full-length release which was produced by THE DICTATORS' Andy Shernoff. Originally released as cd in 1994.
