"The Many Faces" präsentiert die besten Klassiker der Gruppe in ihren von DAVE GOODMAN aufgenommenen Originalversionen. Es wurde sogar geschafft, Songs wie "Silly Thing“ und "Here We Go Again“ mit draufzupacken, als die Gruppe nur aus STEVE JONES und PAUL COOK bestand, eine Art Vorschau auf das, was später ihr kurzes, aber brillantes Projekt THE PROFESSIONALS werden sollte.
Das wirklich Besondere an "The Many Faces" ist das Material, das DAVE GOODMAN selbst mit einer Reihe von befreundeten Musikern (darunter angeblich auch GLEN MATLOCK) im Musikstil der SEX PISTOLS aufgenommen hat und die er mehrmals unter dem Label THE EX PISTOLS veröffentlicht hat. Aus diesem Material wurden einige der Titel aufgenommen, darunter "Schools are Prisons“. "Judging Minds“ und "Boasting“.
